Quem são nossos mestres e doutores? O avanço da capacitação docente em terapia ocupacional no Brasil
Abstract
Este trabalho teve por objetivo proceder a um diagnóstico nacional da situação de capacitação dos terapeutas ocupacionais que atuam em instituições de ensino superior no pais. 0 instrumento de analise foi um questionário para ser respondido por todos os terapeutas ocupacionais docentes dos cursos de terapia ocupacional (T.O.) do Brasil. Docentes das dezesseis escolas de formação existentes na época (pública e privadas) fizeram parte da amostra pesquisada. Esse instrumento levantou informações sobre as escolhas que os terapeutas ocupacionais das escolas publicas e particulares fazem por programas de pós-graduacão lato e stricto sensu. Os resultados mostram que a capacitação formal dos terapeutas ocupacionais encontra-se em franco crescimento, alterando sensivelmente 0 quadro que se tinha na década de setenta. Estes dados deverão subsidiar urna analise mais aprofundada sobre as expectativas desses profissionais quanta ao tipo de pós-graduação que desejam ver implantada na área.
